Rotary Centennial Community Project
The club plans to work together with the Rotary Club of Sittingbourne & Milton in implementing a project to benefit the community by February 2005 when Rotary becomes 100 years of age.

Stroke Awareness
Rotary International in Great Britain and Ireland carried out a Blood Pressure Check Day on Saturday April 5th in support of the UK's leading charity, The Stroke Association. Rotary Clubs organised free blood pressure checks in their communities by qualified medical staff when a record number of blood pressure readings were taken on this day.
The Rotary Club of Sittingbourne Invicta supported this project, with 216 Sittingbourne people being tested on the day.

International Relief Aid
The club aims to supply a number of AQUABOX kits each year as emergency relief to disaster areas around the world. The AQUABOX is a rapid response provision of safe drinking water and welfare aid items.

Each standard AQUABOX contains a filter cartridge and a matching supply of water-treatment tablets. Each AQUABOX is then filled with a selection of warm clothing and useful hardware items. Once the welfare items have been removed in the field, an AQUABOX can be used to purify up to 1,000 litres of polluted water, making it safe and pleasant to drink.

Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA)
The two Sittingbourne Rotary Clubs jointly organised the first RYLA course within District 1120 in March 2001. This has now been followed by three further courses during 2002 and 2003. Further RYLA events are planned for October 2003, April 2004 and October 2004.

Life Education Centres
The Rotary Club of Sittingbourne Invicta continues to support the local branch of Life Education Centres in the field of health and drug prevention education.

Life Education Centres, in partnership with schools and the community, aims to help eliminate tobacco, alcohol and illegal drug use among young people and reduce the harm associated with drug use.
Two fully equipped mobile classrooms are now in use throughout Kent. One mobile classroom is currently operating within the Swale and the Medway towns, and the other is for use throughout the rest of Kent.
