Festo Didactic Training\r\n\r\nMechatronics Level 2

Product Description

Festo Didactic Training - Mechatronics Level 2\r\n\r\nDesigned to develop the skills of the delegate, the course allows them todesign and construct more complex control systems involving two or morecylinders and convert them to pneumatic, electrical or PLC control.\r\n\r\nThe course requires previous knowledge to the standard of \'Mechatronics Level 1 (M111)\', and continues to develop the same areas of control. Circuits involving logic, time delay and sequence control are designed and built using pneumatic, electrical and PLC equipment.\r\n\r\nTraining Outcomes\r\nOn completion of this course, participants will be able to:\r\n\r\nRead and understand circuit diagrams for pneumatic, electro-pneumatic and PLC controls \r\nRead and understand displacement step diagrams, function charts, ladder diagrams and logic diagrams. \r\nAdopt methods for overcoming trapped signals in control circuits \r\nDesign circuits for the control of multi-actuator systems \r\nUnderstand the function, design, technical data and symbols for contactless pneumatic and electronic sensors \r\nInclude timer functions in control circuits \r\nDetermine how pneumatic, electro-pneumatic and PLC systems interface to each other \r\nCompare pneumatic, electro-pneumatic and PLC systems as solutions to simple applications\r\nN.B. Course contents are only a guide and will be covered as far as timepermits.\r\n\r\nTarget Group\r\nAll personnel involved in the design, assembly or maintenance of controlscontaining pneumatic, electro-pneumatic and PLC equipment.\r\n\r\nPrevious Knowledge\r\nMechatronics Level 1 (M111).\r\n\r\nCourse Duration\r\nCourses take place over three days and are available in-house or at one ofour national training centres.\r\n\r\nPractical exercises are used throughout the course. Candidates will also use FluidSIM, a Festo software package for the design and simulation of fluid powercircuits.\r\n\r\nTo discuss this seminar in more detail over a coffee, please contact us at Electroquip
