Festo Valves > New addition to Festo CPX valve terminal range.

 A new addition to the Festo range has been released recently. The innovative CPX extension system for Festos CPX automation platform.

This recent addition was optimized for cabinets as well as allowing technicians to separate CPX valve terminals straight into a couple of components therefore reducing expenses by up to thirty percent in comparison to existing alternatives.

Festo CPX extension enables consumers to integrate additional modules more cheaply, particularly when they are created for cabinet applications for example when they are used in the food and drink and process industries. 

Before, customers had been restricted to 10 modules therefore  in the event that more were needed, customers would be required to obtain another CPX with fieldbus node, put in a CPX vertically and use larger control cabinets.

With this product version, the integrated positioned checks the position of the piston rod within the available stroke range. This actuator has a factory-defined safety position that is assumed if the operating voltage or the analogue setpoint value fails.
