Burkert Valves > Burkert now offer pilot valves on fast delivery.

Burkert range of valves can now meet the demands of the process, chemical and petrochemical industries with its fast delivery option, from stock at Electroquip

Burkert valves 6519 Namur interface valve. Burkert solenoid valves are protected from corrosion and have a one valve for all applications ethos (3/2 and 5/2 options). These valves include a poppet design allows for a direct interface for mounting onto process actuators.

The advantages of IP65 ingress protection, as well as being ideal for use on air (lubricated or dry) and neutral gases, the Burkert 6519 valves come in standard Namur flange configuration and they can be used for safe areas or hazardous areas using EExm (encapsulation) and EExi (intrinsically safe) versions. The Burkert 6519 valves can be mounted directly, without the need for piping or mounting adapters- onto single or double acting process actuators that operate both butterfly and ball valves. Burkert’s 6519 can be used with single or double acting actuators. These offer flexibility as they can be used as a 3/2 or a 5/2 way version, by simply rotating the mounting plate. By using top quality products it makes it possible to use the valves in open air and in chemical atmospheres.

One of the main features of the Burkert 6519 Namur valve design would be that the valve seats operate with low friction, therefore this ensures the reliable switching even after long periods of shutdown periods and at ambient temperatures that are below 0°c. The 6519 range of valves reduce costs as it operates without continuous air consumption. By combining Burkert's 6519 valve and modular 2051 range of single and double acting rotary actuators are a cost effective, aesthetically well designed package that operate pilot valves. Burkert have commented that that the 2051 are both strong and reliable and that offer both heavy-duty quarter turn (900) in normal ambient and slightly aggressive environmental conditions.
