ELEMENT Flow Transmitter
Bürkert Fluid Control Systems has enhanced the technical features and appearance of its digital flow transmitters. The models 8026, 8036 and 8076 now shine in the consistent stainless steel design of the ELEMENT series. New processors, new software, additional features and an innovative operating concept distinguish the next generation of these successful Bürkert transmitters.

More than just a facelift

The beautiful stainless steel housing in the design of the ELEMENT series and the removable displays with backlight are the most obvious changes to the new Bürkert flow meters. However, the re-designed housing also conceals numerous other technical improvements, as a result of complete re-engineering. The new features include future-proof system architecture with a new processor and new software to optimize the performance of the sensors. To guarantee maximum reliability and quality, the same circuits are used for conductivity and pH/ORP measurement as those used in the Bürkert ELEMENT transmitter models 8222 and 8202.

Standardized stainless steel design for controllers, valves and sensors

The flow transmitters with 4-20 mA output are available in two versions: Basic (1 NPN transistor output) and Advanced (two NPN/PNP transistor outputs). They comply with the stringent UL safety standards and provide long-lasting and reliable IP protection in protection class IP 65/67. The stainless steel housing of the Bürkert ELEMENT design provides for a standardized, high-quality appearance within the system, in addition to being very durable and resistant to cleaning chemicals. This makes the flow transmitters ideal not only for use in water treatment and process automation, but also for food and beverage, dairy, brewing, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.

Innovative operating concept
The removable displays of the flow transmitters are programmable and equipped with backlight for easier operation. All customer-specific settings, such as the measuring range, units of measurement, pulse output and filters are configured directly at the device. The programming itself is done using a joystick. Moving it horizontally/vertically line and rows are selected and activated by pushing the joystick. This control button is used to set parameters, define and save configurations and to start the unit.
