The Sick Inspector is as powerful as a camera and as easy-to-use as a standard photoelectric sensor.

High-speed part inspection
Robust pattern match algorithm to locate part, independent of position, rotation, and scale
Multi-feature inspections
Multi-reference object teaching

Easy-to-use step configuration in PC
Emulator, log, statistics, and record for production control
Industrial Ethernet for monitoring over network
Exchangeable lens (I20)

Outputs by logical expressions (I20)
Input and output extensions via I/O box (I20)
Enables the engineer to make a decision for quality inspection within existing budgets!
No matter what angle or orientation your product comes down the line, the Inspector is up to the challenge - verifying completeness and quality. The Sick i10 Inspector provides a simple pass/fail output, ensuring only the correct product makes it through, whilst the Sick I20 combines logical expressions and extended I/O for more detail and sorting applications. Plus, the Inspector is fast - able to keep up to the quickest line speeds.

The Inspectors rugged IP67 metal housing ensures it can withstand harsh industrial and production line environments. The housing incorporates either a standard ring light or a unique diffuse dome light for inspection of glossy, reflective or metallic surfaces.

The configuration software is simple and intuitive to use. It evaluates edges, contours, contrasts, grey scale values or pixels in milliseconds. It also enables monitoring, statistics capture, recording and emulator testing on filed images. Integral Ethernet capability allows integration with DCS communications networks.

More functionality through flexibility: with its exchangeable lens concept, output logic solution and expandable IO, the Inspector I20 can solve a wider range of applications.

The Sick Inspector I20 allows easy replacement of optical lenses for different distances and fields of view while maintaining a high enclosure rating (IP67). Logical output options are available in the Inspector I20. With simple and/ or logic, multiple inspections can be combined to give the end user more detailed feedback. Extended I/O support is available via an external I/O box. More product types can be stored and individual checks can be assigned to a specific output for additional control.
